Heres my story

I have had the birth control iud for a little over 4 years with very little if anything troubling. Lost my mentral cycle and i honestly thought this was perfect for me.

Without going into too much detail i started what i thought was my cycle for 6 long weeks. Talked to friends in the medical field it eased my mind until one night i had am excruciating pain and idk what came over me but i asked Jonny Kite to pick up a pregnancy test otw home one day. Took it and it immediatly showed 2 lines (aka pregnant) i AM that .1% they warn you about.

Fast forward. An hour later i was in the emergency room which they diagnosed as a possible miscarriage. A week of spending all my free time in the obgyns office confirmxing and unconfirming a miscarrage. Turns out i had a etopic pregancy meaning my fetus was alive still inside my fallopian tube. Which would kill me if not treated. Which would have been a quick fix with a shot they give cancer patients. After going back to get my 2nd opinion they ran tests to make sure my liver and kidneys were in good enough condition to take the shot. Between me checking in and going to sit in the waiting room my left fallopian tube ruptured and i started bleeding internally. Bad news.

I ended up with emergency surgery and had my left fallopian tube removed. Ouch.

I will forever have fertility issues caused by the marana iud.
